Rather than hopping in the car or walking closer to the base, you can follow Sitting Bull Road up and jump onto the parking lot shuttle for a quicker door-to-lift experience! Two vehicles per unit are allowed in the detached, covered garage as well as one vehicle in the on-site parking lot. One additional vehicle can be parked in the lot outside dedicated to the Lodges at Elkhorn.

This home does not have air conditioning.

Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport

In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!
