Welcome to Cowboy Heaven 3! Experience the rustic elegance of Big Sky, Montana while staying at this beautiful cabin! This property is located in the Moonlight Basin area of Big Sky, on the north side of Lone Peak. Premier Ski-In/Ski-Out access is available via the "Powder River" ski trail.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is perfect for a family or small group of friends! Enjoy gathering in the large great room, which encompasses the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room features a gas fireplace to help you keep warm on chilly mountain evenings. The private hot tub on the deck is a great place to relax after the day's adventures and take in the sweeping mountain views!
In the winter, enjoy PREMIER ski access via the "Powder River" ski trail. This is a blue ski run and it isn't very far down to the Iron-Horse chairlift. From here, you have 5,800 acres at the tips of your skis! You can ski down to the Madison base area within Moonlight Basin or head over to Big Sky Resort.
In the summer, this cabin is your base camp to all things Big Sky! The world-renowned Beehive Basin trail is right down the road. This moderate trail has wildflowers galore and leads to a mountain lake. After you book, we can provide recommendations for everything from fly fishing guides to horseback riding outfitters!
This is truly a Montana mountain masterpiece and its simplicity is what Montana is all about!

We highly recommend 4-wheel drive in the winter months (Oct-May). We don't believe it's a necessity for the summer months but do find it a good idea! Lucky for you, we offer all guests who book with us discounts for rentals in Bozeman!
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

We had never been to Big Sky, and found this cabin from a search. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Two Pines management was always responsive with our questions providing accurate and clear information. No ski in/out lodging is going to be inexpensive, however this stay was a great value with its full kitchen and washer/dryer with other home amenities. It offered our family a great ski vacation!
Loved the location right on the slopes so everyone could ski in and out very easily. Hot tub views were incredible. Cozy cabin with great vibe that was perfect for dinners brought in and games for our family of four.

Great two bedroom property- well appointed, and great location. Hot tub was fantastic. Always hot , ready to go. Easy ski in -ski out location. Wonderful views. Quiet and private. The management company was around every step of the way and couldn’t be any more helpful. Like a personal assistant all the way though . Can't say enough. Enjoy it like I did!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four. We were impressed by the cleanliness, the great decor and million dollar views! We used the outdoor hot tub every day. My kids immediately asked when we could come back!
Perfect small-family cabin for skiing vacation
by Chris P.Two kids and two adults. The kids liked the bunk beds in one bedroom, while parents were in an adjacent bedroom. Cozy little cabin that was all we needed to have a great vacation. We stopped at the grocery store and picked up all we needed to cook dinners every night. Hot tub was a hit! Quiet on the inside of the cabin, so we hardly heard anything outside. Just a short walk (75 feet) to the end of the driveway to get on the slopes.
