Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport:
To fully explore the wonders of Big Sky, having a vehicle during your stay is highly recommended. This allows you to conveniently travel throughout the community, from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other areas, Big Sky remains a small town with limited transportation options.
